This is a great activity to help teach your child to write his/her name. I simply took some name badges that I found at the Dollar Tree, and wrote his name on them with gray marker. I then gave him a darker marker that he can use to trace the letters. This activity also helps to teach line recognition.

Great idea! I'm going to pick some of those up! You could also cover them with contact paper or laminate them and use a dry erase marker. sometimes it makes them like to do it even more because they can wipe it off with a kleenex and then do it again.
