Easy Meals- Veggie Smoothies

Do you have a hard time getting your child to eat veggies? I have one very picky eater, and I have been having a hard time getting veggies in him. Well, here is a great fun way to get around the veggie issue.

Ingredients:

  • Almond Milk
  • Banana’s
  • Frozen Mixed Berries
  • Carrots
  • Vanilla Yogurt

Directions:

  • Put a layer of frozen Berries in the bottom of the blender
  • A thick layer of yogurt on top of the Berries (half a container)
  • A layer of carrots
  • A layer of Bananas
  • 1 cup or so of Milk (really use as needed)
  • If you need it to be more icy, add ice as needed
  • Blend everything up
  • Poor in a cup and serve

Easy Meals for the Non Domestic- Cheese Quesadillas

My kids LOVE these easy Cheese Quesadillas.

Ingredients:

  • Butter
  • Tortillas
  • Shredded Cheese

Directions:

  Melt 2 Tablespoons of Butter in a skillet

  Place a tortilla in the skillet, and cover it with shredded cheese

  Put a tortilla on top of the cheese and begin frying it. Flip the tortilla over and fry the other side until cheese is melted. (be careful not to burn the tortilla’s)

  Place the finished Quesadilla on a plate and cut and serve as desired. (I like to use cookie cutters to cut them into fun shapes)

Easy Meals for the Non-Domestic, Jelly & Banana Toast

Jelly & Banana Toast

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Banana’s
  • Jelly

Directions:

  • Toast two pieces of bread
  • Spread Jelly on both pieces of bread
  • Cut up a Banana and place sliced on top of bread

I only put Banana’s on one side of the bread because my kids like to make it a sandwich. This is a big hit in my home.

Easy Meals for the Non-Domestic- Baked French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 3 Eggs
  • A pinch of Salt (LOL)
  • Crisco
  • 12 slices of bread
  • 1 1/2 cups Vanilla Soy Milk or 1 1/2 cups Milk & 1 teaspoon Vanilla Flavoring
  • Confectioners Sugar (optional)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Grease cookie sheet
  • Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and salt in a bowl
  • Dip bread in the egg mixture and place on cookie sheet
  • Poor remaining mixture over the bread on pan and let sit for 10 minutes
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes
  • Remove from oven and add Sugar if desired.

Easy Meals for the Non-Domestic #1

Pot roast Bags

I purchase the Stoffer’s Yankee Pot Roast Skillet meals for $3.00 and Wal-Mart. All you do is open the bag, poor the contents into a skillet, turn your oven on Med. heat, Cover and stir until done. It was so easy, and the Family loved it!
