Kid Friendly Friday

KFF
Welcome to Kid Friendly Friday where we share anything that other parents might find interesting or useful. Use a post that you did today, or one from last year. You can link up with Mcklinky at the bottom of this post. If you link up please be courteous and link back here somewhere in your post. Or you can just read and enjoy.

It's yard sale time. the weather is getting warmer and it's time to start having some yard sales. That's how we spent our day today. I started thinking about ways to involve the kids in the yard sale so that it was more fun for them. Here are a few ideas.
1. Let them help make the signs. Even if it's just putting a hand print on the poster for decoration.

2. Give them a goal. The goal for our yard sale was to raise money to put a bathroom in at my parents. You could make a graph to track how close you are to your goal. (even the younger ones like this)

3. Let them help carry items to peoples cars.

4. If you are selling their toys let them help by telling interested people what they like about that toy.

5. Let them be your water boy. LOL!

6. Allow them to help you put price stickers on the items.

7. Help older children count out change.

8. Make it a competition of who can sale the most items.

9. Set out a craft table, when people show up with other children they will have something to do. This will give the parents more time to look and think. (Wink, Wink)

10. Make them your personal helper, and pay them for it!
