My family has been going through some health battles with two of our children. I have found myself becoming very weary in trying to deal and cope with them. I think as Mother's we want to be the one who can make everything better, and when that's not the case we tend to beat ourselves up. In our current situation I found myself feeling helpless. That is when I was reminded of two scriptures.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." --Matthew 6:33.
Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
How often do make God a last resort when we should be coming to Him first?
