Wow! What a week. We went to Children’s for Christopher's Ultra sound. He freaked out about having Gel put on his belly. I had expected that he would, and I tried to prepare him, but He still freaked out. I guess the Tech was having a bad day because he was not patient with us at all. I told him that Christopher has Autism and sensory issues, but he did not understand. To him, it was “JUST AND ULTRA SOUND!” I ended up getting my husband to go back there. the gel was a HUGE ordeal, but he settled down enough to get finished.
Because the gel was such a big deal I found it funny that when we got down to the Doctors office, he let the clown paint his face. I will never stop being amazed at how fickle Sensory issues are.
