My kids are offered a variety of toys to play with. My boys play with baby dolls, and my girl plays with cars. So I’m not one of those gender specific. But, there is one thing I have found that seems to just be part of my boys genetic make up. TRAINS! I have not made allowed them to watch millions of episodes of Thomas, and so explaining their love for trains, it just seems to be part of them. Right down to the baby.

My 6 year old started showing an interest in trains before he could talk. He couldn't say anything but he can do the train movement with his arm, and mumble "choo choo." lol
It STILL has not died down.
I have an almost 2 year old who loves trains too. Not sure if he likes them because his brother does or because he really likes them.
When my 6 year old started liking trains, he never seen thomas before. He likes Thomas because he's a train, not the other way around.
