Welcome to Kid Friendly Friday where I share anything that other parents might find interesting or useful.
I am excited to share with you a fun and simple craft project. I did this when I was a child, and it is so much fun.
Milk Carton Bird Feeder:
Items Needed:
- Paint
- Decorations (paint, glitter, Stickers, etc.)
- 1 Pencil
- 1 Milk Carton
- String
- 1 Nail (or something to poke holes)
- Bird Seed
- Scissors
Directions:
- Wash our your Carton, and cut holes on each side so that the bird can get to the food.
- Decorate the carton as desired
- Once dry, Poke a hole just under the openings on each side towards the bottom, and poke your pencil through so there is a perch on both sides.
- Poke one hole on the opposite side of the lid, and place the string through that hole and the lid.
- Add seed
- Hang feeder in a tree and enjoy.
My kids had fun making these. We hung them around the yard, and have enjoyed feeding squirrels lol!!!
