Camping

You may remember a few weeks ago when I posted that we were going camping. It was the kids first camping trip. We went with their Grandfather. We had a blast. The site that Dad had chosen was wonderful. After we set up our tents, I took the kids down to a little beach, that was just down from the site.

We went on several hiking trails.  I have no photo’s of them, because I found it difficult to take pictures on this trip. My dad had made a walking stick for each child. He was so great about talking to them about nature, pointing things out, and leading the walks. He was also great about telling little Bible stories. it was really an enjoyable time.

Later we started the fire, and the kids made hotdogs, and we had smores.
