Mom's Bible

Many people know that I am a Bible junky. Though I have many different Bibles I only really use a few of them. I like to have a variety of different versions for comparison. I have my everyday Bible, my study Bible, Greek/Hebrew reference and many more. Needless to say when I as given the opportunity to review Mom's Bible I jumped on it.

I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is a hard cover Bible which I usually don't care for because it makes them look cheap, so I was glad that the cover was very classy. Each book of the Bible is filled with notes and devotions geared towards mother's. Though I have not read them all, I have enjoyed what I have read. The print is clear and easy to read. (no squinting of the eyes)

In the back of the Bible you will find three different indexes.
First is a great section called, "Answers to Questions Kids Ask." Questions like, "Why do we have to follow so many rules?", and, "How strong is God?". I have personally reviewed several of these questions and found the scriptures provided as well as the note very useful.
Second, is a topical index. I love a good topical index when in a rush to recall scriptures on a specific topic. That's where my one and only complaint of this Bible comes in. There is only one scripture or passage provided for each topic.
Third, you will find an index to "First Touch" verses. This section highlights a few great verses (well known) in each chapter. This section would be great for those days when you just don't know where to start.

I look forward to using this Bible more during my study times. If you find yourself looking in the Bible isle wondering what you should get, I would suggest that you give this on a look.

I review for BookSneeze
