Children as the Teachers

We are on vacation and having a blast! I can't wait to share the pictures when we return, but I just had to share this story. While we were riding in the care on the way back from the Zoo today I was talking to Hailey about what she learned. Somehow we ended up talking about Carnivores, Herbivores, and Omnivores . I asked Hailey what we were and she said, "People". I knew she was just being a smart Alick because she did not want to learn on vacation so I started to get on to her. I did not because it sounded just like something I would say. Instead I just laughed and took note to self that I need to watch my smart comments. It's amazing how much you can learn about yourself from your children.
