One of the most well known tricks to freshen up your garbage disposal, as well as freshening up the whole kitchen is to cut up some lemons and put them in the disposal. Well, this week my kids have been addicted to oranges. I discovered that putting the orange peels down the disposal did the same thing as the lemons, and it's cheaper. Just use the peels from your child's snack.
