We put together this simple 4th of July Lapbook. I think it turned out pretty good. We got most of the printables from Lapbooklessons.com
For the Cover, Hailey and Christopher made handprint flags, and I painted the rest.
This is the inside view. In the middle there is a sheet where both H & C drew Fireworks. Also in the middle is Christopher's copy work.
Left Flap: Hailey got a dictionary. Sadly her first. SO we have been teaching her how to use it. This was an activity where she wrote the definition of the words, by looking them up in her dictionary. She did an amazing job.
Right Flap: These are just a few little books where we talked about and wrote down things about the 4th.
The back: On the back we put some songs, a scripture, and this flap book with facts about the American flag.
Each of the children colored this coloring sheet. Look how good Sammy is getting (His is in the middle)
Hailey worked on her cursive writing using this sheet.
