Welcome to Kid Friendly Friday where I share anything that other parents might find interesting or useful.
The kids had a blast exploring a friends land. they made all types of wonderful discoveries. Imagine my horror when I discovered they all had Ticks. EWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! Man those things are ugly. Unfortunately, they are a common hazard of playing in the woods this time of the year. I heard someone say that this is why they so not allow their children to play in the woods. I encourage you to not be scared of letting your kids explore, but to instead to read up a bit on ticks, and to properly check your kids each time they come in.
